Beginning with small-sized advertisements out of magazines or newspapers, Aurelia Gratzer dismantles the depicted premises for then creating individual, homogeneous colour fields. The representational purpose which was for centuries attributed to paintings is called into question. Gratzers images are not emerged by accident, but exactly designed.
