Kodtritsch's performance in painings, photography or video art is fairly pretentious, but good entertainement value with a liability to humor and irony, even if confronted with himself. It's always a bit smoothy. His works topple over from ostensible vanity into purposely created, self-destructive clownery. Thus he leaves room for own dreams and plays with many clichees of the artist as a star or celebrity.(Florian Steininger)
